Jobs in the Valuation Services division
Apart from traditional due diligence activities or the valuation of options from employee share plans, FAS AG’s Valuation Services division is mainly involved in corporate acquisitions and supports clients in the acquisition process with its range of services from the initial contact up to integration of the acquired company with the following steps, among others:
- Due diligence
- Cut-off IFRS financial statements
- Purchase price allocation (PPA)
- Post-merger integration
- Impairment testing
- Value-based management
- Working capital management

Manager/Authorised Signatory in the Valuation Services Consulting Division
As a Manager/Authorised Signatory, you will contribute independently to business development and personnel management. You will work on projects as the overall project manager and/or as an expert in the professional planning for which you will be the contact person responsible for the clients. Furthermore, you will market consultancy services in defined and straightforward topics. On the basis of this market cultivation, you will develop your own client accounts and manage existing accounts. As a mentor, you will be introduced to personnel management by assuming the supervision of employees. Our clients’ managers are members of the management team and participate actively in determining corporate strategies.
Your profile:
- At least 4 years’ professional experience in transaction services in a large auditing firm/consultancy or in the M&A/corporate finance department of an international industrial company as well as extensive experience in project management, personnel management and winning new customers
- A degree in a relevant subject such as economics or business mathematics with a focus on corporate finance, international accounting and financial control
- High level of independence, motivation, flexibility and a willingness to travel
- Excellent social skills as well as a strong sense of responsibility and quality awareness
- Very good English
- Good knowledge of standard MS Office products as well as research tools (esp. Bloomberg)

Senior Consultant in the Valuation Services division
As a Senior Consultant, you are an expert in one or more areas relevant to us. You will work on projects as the subproject manager and/or as an expert in professional planning. Furthermore, you will be responsible for the proactive further development of client solutions within the valuation services team and for knowledge management in your main area of focus. As part of carrying out projects and dealing with topics, you will coach interns and consultants assisting you in your duties.
Your profile:
- At least 2 years’ professional experience in transaction services in a large auditing firm/consultancy or in the M&A/corporate finance department of an international industrial company
- A degree in a relevant subject, such as economics or business mathematics with a focus on corporate finance, international accounting and financial control
- High level of independence, motivation, flexibility as well as a willingness to travel
- Excellent social skills and a strong sense of responsibility and quality awareness
- Very good English
- Good knowledge of MS Office products as well as research tools (esp. Bloomberg)

Consultant in the Valuation Services division
As a Consultant you will be responsible for the largely independent completion of tasks within a project. You will therefore be in constant contact with our clients in close cooperation with a project manager. In addition to working on projects, you will have the opportunity to get involved in innovative developments or work on specialist publications.
Your profile:
- Practical experience from a first job or relevant internship in the finance and accounting sector, in a bank or insurance company, a management consultancy or auditing firm
- A degree in a relevant subject, such as economics or business mathematics, with a focus on corporate finance, international accounting and financial control
- High level of independence, motivation and flexibility as well as a willingness to travel
- Excellent social skills as well as a strong sense of responsibility and quality awareness
- Very good English
- Good knowledge of MS Office products as well as research tools (esp. Bloomberg)
