Prof. Dr. Peter Leibfried has been the Chairman of the FAS AG Supervisory Board since November 2005. He is one of the company’s founders and was a member of the board from April 2000 to August 2005. He studied at the universities of Hohenheim, Kent State (USA) and St. Gallen and subsequently worked for an audit firm and is a Certified Public Accountant (Illinois).

Today Peter Leibfried heads the Academy for International Accounting in Stuttgart, holds a chair in Audit and Accounting at the University of St.Gallen is a member of the Board of Governors at the Fachhochschule Calw (Calw Polytechnic), President of the Executive Committee of the German CPA Society and is a member of numerous specialist committees and associations.

Ingo Weber, Dipl.-Kfm. (Degree in Business Administration), has been a member of the Board of FAS AG since June 2000. He studied Business Administration at Erlangen-Nuremberg.

Before his time at FAS AG Ingo Weber worked for the international auditing firm Arthur Andersen in auditing and consultancy of companies from the most varied sectors and supported numerous clients in the introduction of IAS / IFRS and US GAAP. At the same time he advised many companies in connection with the optimisation of internal reporting, planning and controlling.

Since October 1999 until his appointment to the Board of FAS AG Ingo Weber was a self-employed management consultant. In January 2000 he was appointed as a tax consultant.

Ulrich Sommer has been a member of the FAS AG board since autumn 2007. He is in charge of the valuation services division.

Ulrich Sommer studied business administration at the University of Regensburg and at Trinity College in Dublin. Prior to joining FAS AG on October, 2000, Ulrich Sommer worked at the international audit company Arthur Andersen in the medium-sized companies’ consultancy division.

In October 2000, Ulrich Sommer successfully passed the American certified public accountant examination (CPA).

Ulrich Sommer is a consultant at the Academy for International Accounting and has taught courses at several universities of applied sciences.

Peter Adolph has been appointed as management director of the FAS Lease AG in January 2009. He studied business administration at the University of Cooperative Education Stuttgart and the University of Hohenheim and focuses since 1993 on the topic leasing.

He initially dealed for more than a decade with the audit and advisory of leasing companies for KPMG AG, Frankfurt, in the Financial Services division and has been appointed as a tax consultant in 1997. Afterwards, he headed several years the Financial Services divisions of the Linde AG, Munich, and the KION Group GmbH, Wiesbaden, until the end of 2008.

Peter Adolph has been giving several lectures on leasing and published various articles concerning the topic lease accounting. He is also a lecturer of the University of Konstanz and the University of Cooperative Education Stuttgart and academically works in the field of international lease accounting at the University of Zurich.
